- The trend: While prices are still rising, the market is cooling. Some context, the annual growth was 11% in November 2024.
- Sales slowdown: For the first time in two years, transaction volumes dropped. May saw 19,120 home sales—down 2.5% from May 2025—though total sales for the first five months of the year are still up 5%. This is interesting because of a lot of ex rental apartments are hitting the market because of tax rules. So it could be a lot more drastic.
